Today in yoga I had a different instructor, which is always cool. We played around a lot with forearm balances and crow, which anyone who saw me try and fail to do handstand pushups at Sectionals ’10 will know I am no good at, and today I nailed both! I held Crow for maybe 6 seconds? But that’s 6 seconds longer than I ever have before! Woot!
Also, still love Nature’s Garage Gym. Yesterday’s workout was quick and dirty:
3 Rounds:
8 clean-and-jerk, 60# rock
40M sprint to boulder
20 boulder jumps (~20 inch)
40 M sprint (partially uphill!) back to “platform”
Bonus: Strict press to failure 60# rock: 15 reps / 10 reps
