I left my beloved job at HGS, where I had the incredible fortune of working for the absolute best boss I’ve ever had and working with the most incredible team I’ve ever built. We made big impact: big strides forward in brand consistency and social media, launched an awesome podcast, packaged our first product, built a partner program, got promoted (!! every member of my team was promoted within a year of working with me), sent memes, made jokes, and had deep conversations. I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead and be led, to create and be creative in problem solving, to build and build on strong foundations.
Next week, I will be joining what appears to be an equally amazing team at Arise Virtual Solutions as their VP, Service Partner Marketing within the Operations team. I am so excited about what’s to come.
In the interim, I’ve had a week off but it barely feels like it—I accomplished a lot of a huge to-do list, but what I didn’t do enough of was laze around! Luckily, this week I’m heading to Cali to reconnect with so many friends and family, taste wine at The Farm, cruise around Newport, and show off around my Helpful Humanitarian Warrior.
It’s been so long since I’ve written a gratitude list (or in my journal, but that’s a separate issue), there’s no way to catch y’all up. here’s a snapshot though.
so that’s why this duck was paddling
And this duck is still grateful, and happy, and loves the crap out of her friends and family.
