When it rains it doesn’t always rain??
I know that’s not the saying, but “when it rains, it pours” isn’t right for this feeling … it’s not exactly pouring, and the forecast this week in Austin has been for rain all week though very little has actually shown up. That feels a bit like my life right now: work is busy, I’m heading out for some adventures and a wedding, and it’s all very intense yet not pouring so much as to be unmanageable.
- OC in ATX at P6 <3
- Slaying some new outfits
- Yardwork!! I chainsawed again!
- Supper Club Szn (now that I’ve been I legit still don’t really know what it is, but it was fun so we’ll just go with that) at The Austin Winery (my FAVE)
- Elizabeth & Clarke jackets and Athleta pants
- Biking to work
- Apple
- My health
- Therapy. More on that to come, but the cobblers’ kid is getting some shoes and it’s SO helpful
- CDMX and Sayulita – expect my ig to be a flood of fun travel pics for the next two weeks … and Pujol. Be jealous.

MUST READ: This article brought out a range of emotions from me—I was at once frustrated, defeated, angry, scheming how to become the man in the situation, and envious. To say this article is worth a read is an understatement (NYTimes.com so use your Incognito browser if you’re already at your monthly limit). Just check out this quote: “Women don’t step back from work because they have rich husbands … They have rich husbands because they step back from work.”
