x lyssa is a CrossFit blog … yep, another one of those!
One of those where I talk about what my workout was, how I felt, what I ate before, or after, how much I slept, how much I hate burpees, how sore I am, how awesome I feel… yep, it’s a CrossFit blog.
However, don’t assume this blog is ordinary. Things that are gonna be really cool about it:
– I’m traveling A LOT this month, so I’m working out in weird places, with funky equipment, and without a group. Baaaah! Sounds miserable, huh?
– I just got CrossFit Level 1 certified, so with all that coaching in my head I’m hyper-focused on form and the whys of what I’m doing
– I’m competing in CrossFit for the first time at the Central Southern Texas Sectionals. I played basketball and ran track in college, so I’m no stranger to competition, but this is just a little bit different.
So there. Tune in, dangit. Cuz it’s a cold, lonely world out here without my virtual friends on the interwebs.
