“I love your wavy hair!” exclaimed a friend over dinner.
I launched into how a coworker had bought me this discontinued stuff that was amazing and I was so sad it was discontinued but my coworker thought it looked so good on me that she gave me two bottles from her stash when this friend interrupted me and said, “just blog about it. I’ll read about it there.”
Well, here you go. The product in question is Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves, and it appears you can indeed still buy it at Wal-Mart, at least online. As Wal-Mart isn’t supporting UFC badass Ronda Rousey’s new book (they’re selling but not displaying it) because it’s “too violent” for a store that stocks guns and ammo, might I also suggest you peruse Amazon’s page for Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves for your fix if you too are looking for the beach vibe.
Garnier products have long been my go-to for beachy waves or scrunchy curls, because they smell amazing and work really well. What the Wonder Waves does that previous products haven’t is be almost texture-less: hair doesn’t get crunchy, it retains volume and shine, and it really looks like you just rolled out of the ocean with imperfect but pretty, messy waves.
At right is a photo selfie I snapped of the wavy hair in question after two nights of sleeping on it, and a few refresh sprays. Easy peasy. I think I’m making that face because I’m worried I’m gonna get caught selfie-ing in my office.
Also I should maybe wear more makeup in case of impromptu selfies. Don’t they have an app for that?!
It’s all for you, Ash.
