I had lunch today with my absolute favorite foodie friend–the kind that will harangue waiters to find out where a vegetable was procured from, who can sniff a mulberry from a blackberry even smushed into gelato, and has the ability to detail how and where a cheese was made simply by looking at it (yes, she’s simply amazing)–and it reminded me that I need to check out her blog, Texas Locavore, more often. She writes about local food, sources for said food, and things to do with said food.
Lo and behold, she had a post on visiting local farms!
