Typical: A ridiculously awesome OC weekend kicks off with birthday happy hour at the Cannery, bleeds into Cassidy’s and a late night, Saturday brings the bridal shower I flew in for (amazing), a lil day drinkin’ at Pacific City, a lil night partyin’ in Newport, and Sunday beach flag football and then volleyball all afternoon, followed by chill time on the couch with my marriage certificate trio. Blending friends from across parts of everyone’s lives, old and new, and having an absolutely amazing time. Typical.
Typical: Dad calling to say “you wanted to do that thing in your yard, wanna do it Thursday?” We go to Lowe’s, get the stuff, it gets dark, we do the thing anyway (filling in the pit we left moving the patio a couple weeks ago), I haul somewhere around 1100 pounds of dirt and grass into and out of the truck #functionalfitness and we have a blast working in the yard together.
Atypical: Big changes coming and dealing with the (funny) fallout all week. I’m deeply appreciative for the support I’m receiving from my team, coworkers, and boss (& his boss). Massive amounts of planning for the bachelorette is finally coming together. Joining effing Orange Theory to support my friend coaching there and to mix up my fitness in advance of the wedding. Climbing my first “orange” at ABP!
