2016 is the year of glitter.
I love glitter. Like a kid loves glitter. 2016 is the year of glitter. The year of shining, sparkling, jumping, sticking, spinning, ecstatic glitter.
I declared 2015 the year of openness. It was indeed an open year, but … Did I find what I was looking for, when I wasn’t looking? I’m not sure. Did I find a space I didn’t know existed in myself, between wanting and doing? For sure, but did I need that?
I traveled, of course. I traveled to Portland, Aspen (once in the winter and once in the summer!), Louisville, the Grand Canyon, Seattle, Tahoe, Idaho, Austin (how many times?), Toronto (ish), Carmel-by-the-Sea, and Houston. I hiked and backpacked and boated and floated and skiied and Derbyed and wine-tasted.
But, this, this is the year. This is the year I shine. I’m not sure what that means—I don’t know what I’m training for, I’m not (yet) launching a startup, I don’t have major plans (except for travel, always travel!), but this is the year of glitter.
