… when the work groove is back-to-back meetings from 7am to 4pm, and then you need to actually DO work after that. But, it’s all fun and I am very grateful. My weeks sure do look different right now, though, as weekdays are basically just work, workout, sleep, do it again. It does make the weekends all the more special…

I am grateful for being SO SORE. I love my janky squat rack. But it is calling out that while I maintained much of my strength through the workouts I did during quarantine, nothing compares to barbell back squats. Or, for that matter, Power Athlete programming.
I am grateful for my friends, my neighbros, recording the podcast and the feedback we’ve gotten, fantasy football group texts, tiny office upgrades (pencil cup!), plotting out upgrades for the Cowgirl Pool and backyard game, winemaker friends, and last but always there, the world’s cutest, bestest puppy.
