Nali is no longer with us.
It was the right and absolute hardest decision. I am so, so, so sad. So sad. Tired. Worn out. Find it hard to care about anything. Just sad.
Any sound I hear—is that Nali?
The first thing I think when I wake up: gotta walk Nali!
Making plans in my head—does this get me home in time for Nali?
The instincts are mind-boggling.
But it’s a given that I am so incredibly grateful for the time we had together. I am so grateful that we had the soul bond we did, that we were each other’s best pal and biggest champion (yup, true of a pup—that idiom “be the person your dog thinks you are” has some truth to it).
More to come. Instagram posts here and here.
