The Texas Wine and Food Festival jam-packs a long weekend (Thursday-Sunday) with Texas-centric wine and food like you wouldn’t believe. All of our culinary stars are there (Elmar Prambs, Paul Petersen, Tyson Cole, Monica Pope, the list goes on and on …) and the wine flows like water. On what’s sure to be a sunny, beautiful Hill Country day, the soon-to-be-home of the Salt Lick Vineyards’ winery provides the venue for this annual celebration of Texas artisanal food producers, Texas restaurants and chefs, plus wineries and craft brewers. Stroll through vendor tents, enjoy cooking demos by Efisio Farris (Arcodoro Restaurant), Paul Petersen (The Gage Hotel), Allison Heaton (Whole Foods Market Culinary Center Chef) and Damian Mandola (Mandola’s Italian Market) with Scott Roberts (The Salt Lick). Listen to live music all afternoon from Dan Dyer, Patrice Pike and Drew Smith and his Lonely Choir.
