I downloaded a TACFIT workout and watched a video of the Israeli Special Forces trainer Coach Scott Sonnon.
They say: Learn Previously Non-Disclosed Methods that Navy SEALS, Marines and Real-Life Secret Agents Are Using Right Now to Chisel Rock Hard Bodies and Maintain Mission Readiness — Anytime, Anywhere, With Absolutely No Equipment
The entire TACFIT Commando program is bodyweight-only and can be completed in about the same amount of space you’d need to lie down in. It only takes 20 minutes, but we’ve packed it with an intensity and fat melting power most athletes don’t even tap in a full hour of training — because real-world tactical operators don’t have time to piss around.
As if that weren’t enough, TACFIT will also teach you a few of the slick moves used by real life spies in the field. You’ll be able to run, jump and slide like Bond in that crazy opening parkour sequence and you’ll floor the ladies just like he did when you walk up the beach.
I say: TACFIT’s format is similar to CrossFit, but the four exercises are completely different. They’re explosive, interesting, and definitely core-centric. The Swinging Tripod was my fave–it borders on break-dancing, but feels like it might actually be teaching me to Matrix-style dodge bullets.
I did the beginner workout – 2 reps of each exercise on the minute for 20 minutes, and I still felt exhausted after my 20 minutes were up–similar to the exhaustion you feel after a CrossFit workout.
It’s an awesome small-space workout (perfect for traveling, hotel rooms, and rest stops!) and a nice change of pace. I recommend giving it a shot!
