Man I miss training in a group.The workout I made up for myself today would have been a really fun one if I had been with my training partners. Instead, it was me and Nali, and although she’s close to human, it’s just not the same. I was even wearing my CC shirt … sigh. What a nerd.
This WOD utilized my stairs–you’ll remember, 64 steps, and the mountain they’re laid up against.
WOD:
10 Decline Pushups (massive hill at the bottom of the stairs)
64-step stair sprint carrying 20# rock
10 Strict Press with 20# rock
64 squats (1 squat/stair down)
64 box jumps (two feet on each step, between 8-12″ high + distance back up)
10 Strict Press with 20# rock
Skater steps down the stairs (leaping to the far side of each step)
10 Decline Pushups
64-step stair sprint
Time: 10:17
Then over to the dog park for handstand work on the rings and in the grass … working now on headstands to get the core balance …
