Grateful for the nitty gritty in every day experiences:
Sitting outside in the sunshine in a sweater and leggings but barefoot: this is a Texas thing only, methinks. It’s a glorious, fleeting feeling.
A brisk walk, just around the block, to get sunshine on my face before I start my day. Cold, crisp, not slow not fast, no phone, just a quick walk.
A haircut. 28 minutes. Laughter, in with the new, out with the old, genuine affection between two people who don’t know each other all that well but love each other a lot.
Perfect flights working out for negligible miles at the last minute. Just meant to be.
My new planner for 2025, the third year in a row I’ve used the same one. It’s familiar and fresh all at once, with my six colored pens painting a vibrant picture of the daily notes of my life.
Walking between bars and restaurants. It’s such a luxury in a city to be able to move between places and change vibes without driving.
