Before I even moved to the ocean, one of my favorite quotes (not attributed to anyone as far as I can tell) was: the waves of the sea help me get back to me.
Which is true. But yoga does that for me too. Which is why I headed down to the beach during the magic hour to snap this selfie in my super-soft new Why I Yoga tank from CorePower.
It’s a muscle tank. I yoga for the mental health, the stretching, all that. But I also yoga because I love muscles; I love to lift/bang/slam weights. And I’ve found that if I do too much banging weights and not enough yoga, I’m not happy with how I look or feel. But if I do a combo of lifting and yoga-ing, I am very happy with how I look and feel. So #whyiyoga is to keep my fitness all in balance.
