This is one of my favorite views in the whole world. Portland took awhile to grow on me, but this condo and patio did not take any time to grow on me—they are the second home of my second family. I am incredibly grateful for my facebook gf and her parents, who really treat me like part of the family.
This much-needed vacation has already been amazing, beginning with wine-tasting (with another childhood friend!), through wine on the patio, a ridiculous hike yesterday, happy hour with a view, and more patio time. Early to bed, lots of sleep, and tons of talk time. What an amazing weekend—and there’s still more to come. It’s been so good I lost track of days! So here’s to the second Feel Good Saturday in as many weeks, and to the second family I call mine.
