Restaurant week … all the other cities have them, and I earlier this year I wrote about rumors of an Austin Restaurant Week in October. Well, KGSR has apparently beaten Rare magazine to the punch, as the radio station that brings us free live music events Blues on the Green, Unplugged at the Grove, and Live on the Lake is delving into the food world with its Restaurant Week, presented by the Texas Beef Council and benefiting Kids Cafe. It runs August 11-18.
The Restaurant Week menu showcases selected three-course meals for just $25 (excluding beverage, tax and tip). Some of the restaurants offer choices on the courses, some just offer a take-it-or-leave-it menu. The website has an interactive map that will bring up the restaurant’s menu if you click on the red pinpoint.
Participating restaurants:

Dona Emilios
Imperia

Jasper’s
Kenichi
Ranch 616
