I’ve been keeping this list for a lot of months now, and here’s something I learned: if you wait long enough, during a pandemic, whatever you wanted will be sold out anyway so you don’t have to decide if you really want to buy it at all!
Y’know what I need absolutely zero of but use every day, er, week? Wine glasses. I’m really loving these square ones but they could be a bit trendy; these look fabulous but are a bit spendy. While throwing money at wine objet d’arts, why not this absurdly sexy decanter?
Shoulda figured this one out before quarantine, but as long as I can pelo at home, might as well round it out with a home barbell set, no? For the low, low pandemic price of right around $1K… [no link, bc no stock, brb have to cruise craigslist / bumpers from this only-possibly-sketchy guy?]
ART! Because I’ve been making it, I’ve been looking at it a lot more, and fallen in love with some pieces, like this A Million Tiny Lines drawing I’ve been coveting for a long time now, or maybe this one. And this awesome dancing-in-the-rain piece from ArtFinder by artist Monika Luniak, whose me-and-Mara-skinny-dipping-in-the-ocean piece I also love.
Mountain Collective/IKON/a few random ski passes from the mountains themselves? … I have some missed spring skiing to make up in 2021!
A hybrid Mini Countryman or the new Ford Bronco? The turbo is running out on Sir Alistair Bartholomew Kenzington Cornelius the Third, my current regular-gas-guzzling Countryman, Sir the Third for short, making this a decision I’ll make sooner than expected. I did put the $100 down on the Bronco though 😉
Microblading … taking recs in Austin, considering this aesthetician.
A real edger for my yard because my string edger was a nice starter but let’s be honest, it kinda sucks.
An a/c unit for the Cabana … it has one, but I don’t think it works anymore.
Italic membership ($100) so I can then splurge on luxurious things at lower prices.
A new yoga mat … mine has been USED. It’s now shedding navy blue rubber all over me. The same Jade is sold out everywhere or a new Ritual OR a rug on top of the mat?
New toilets. This is 36, and the most likely item to be bought off of this list in the near future.
