I’ve mentioned my favorite non-crossfitting, non-paleo-eating friend before, and here she is with another gem! On a recent evening at my parents’ house drinking a glass of wine, she shared with us the secret to her recent weight loss: overnight oats. She, and her other friends and “everyone she tells about overnight oats” credit this recipe with slimming them down.
Given that I don’t eat oats but intrigued by the concept and its living proof, I set out to make my own overnight fauxoats. Behold:
Overnight Fauxoats
Last night, I combined chia seeds, unsweetened coconut flakes, protein powder, and milk in a container.
This morning, I was treated to a delicious, filling, fauxoatmeal breakfast!
