We’re all nuts!
What is CrossFit & Why Would I do it? … eh, you don’t need to read the article, the answer is because we’re all nuts!
Feasting on Fitness’s Starter Series 3. Eat Fat … explains why a lot of us have suddenly decided we have low-grade nut allergies. Untrue. We just aren’t supposed to eat that many nuts.
We’re all anti-nuts!
I have never liked nuts. Like most people, I love peanut butter, but I do not like nuts, and I do not like peanuts plain. When we went on the strict Paleo challenge, I tried adding more nuts into my diet. I also love to bake, so I started using almond/hazelnut/pecan flour to keep baking.
And I kept getting sick. So I finally decided that my dislike of nuts is my body’s natural way of telling me not to eat something I’m allergic to. You know, to avoid poison. Our bodies are amazing. So I stopped eating nuts. And haven’t been sick since. (Erm, mostly stopped eating nuts. If you see my food log from the Endless Beauty challenge, you’ll see that I ate half a cup of almond butter the other night. That is an estimate. I was REALLY HUNGRY and couldn’t get satiated so I decided to eat almond butter. A lot of it.)
Jess is off the nuts wagon too. Like anything else, enjoy it in moderation, people, but don’t think it’s a “safe” food that you can eat all you want of.
Today workout: Boot camp. Hilarious vids coming soon of us trying out some makeup while doing boot camp. Again, my thighs are going to be huge and my ass High and Tight(TM) after this injury heals …
