I have clearly vacillated during this situation of getting to walk and in what way, which is how we arrive at this title… I went a little HAM on the free ranging over the weekend, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. And I’m doing GREAT in PT. So … whatever. This weekend I got in a workout, got the swing back to the right height, got to tailgate the building of my squat rack, and drank loads of wine with friends and fam. A boy got to meet the fam.
The week has been intense with my cabinets being painted (yay!!!!) but me not truly understanding how much out of my kitchen I was going to need to be … bless the cabana fridge! I had a super busy work week, and with next week being short (Mexico!) And yet I COULD WALK for most of it! In a shoe. In heel lifts. But sans boot. SO! NOT too free range.
My swing is the right height.
My squat rack is built. Pullups are back on the menu. Bench to come (purchased not built).
Carrot top pesto made and utilized in many dishes.
The ski trip I’m supposed to be on is happening … and they’re tagging me in photos and that’s all I could ask for.
Likewise, my football team is keeping me in their chat, and I love it.
My therapist said to me, “It sounds like you’re feeling really good.”
And I am.
I don’t want to assume there’s something terrible on the other side or a shoe to drop or any of that. PEOPLE SHOULD FEEL GOOD.
And that’s it.
I feel good. Friday.
