These are my new computer glasses. I LURVE them. I have never worn glasses in my life, but after reading about how horrible working at a computer all day is for your eyeballs, I felt compelled to save my perfect eyesight with a little blue-light-filtering, magnifying, glare-reducing pair of totally hipster computer glasses. felixgray.com, $95. Preventative medicine and all, y’all.
I also am grateful that this week I made it to the gym twice for gym therapy, even if once my workout was so shitty I was done in 38 minutes because I just couldn’t anymore. But when I’m working crazy hours like I am right now, I’ll take 38 shitty minutes. And one yoga sesh. Not too shabby.
I am grateful for my Friday volleyball group and for Lipstick Fridays, which we institute when we’ve had absolutely shit weeks and need literal color on our lips to perk ourselves up, even while competing in athletic activities like beach volleyball. It’s amazing how well lipstick actually works to boost your mood (this is not an advert ;)).
Even in a shit week, there are many things to be grateful for—and that’s life through my new (non-)rose-colored computer glasses.
