I just finished reading Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson—who has been called America’s Nelson Mandela—after learning from my library committee that he’s coming to speak at Soka University tomorrow night. Tickets are still available here if you’re in OC!
Read this book. It’s called a memoir, but it’s so much more—a fast-paced story wrapped into a deep exploration of the justice system, providing a look inside a world I have personally been largely insulated from. Everyone needs to read this. It’s phenomenal.
