It’s all the rage these days!
After my post on spices last week, I posed a question about how in the world to use turmeric. So obviously I was thrilled to see that Mark Sisson at Mark’s Daily Apple devoted a whole post today to the health benefits of turmeric!
Lisa assured me that turmeric on eggs wouldn’t taste like yellow turd, and it’s true–it’s quite delicious! I’ve also sprinkled it into my buffalo chicken mixture (yum), onto raw chicken (don’t fool yourself for a second into thinking I TOUCHED the chicken, That Ripped Guy of Mine(TM) did the raw-chicken-touching), and even into my tuna salad. I’ve decided it’s important for my health. And my muscle soreness.
Of which there has been plenty, thanks to lots of mountain biking and King Yoga’s power yoga, quite possibly my favorite yoga class ever. Could just be the instructor, who is kooky but knowledgeable, but I am lovin’ it.
