My totally badass new-to-me Land Rover Discovery II Kalahari Edition.
The guy who sold it to me warned me about 7,000 times (k, probably just 15) that it was a “masculine” car. It’s very “manly,” he said in a concerned tone, thinking of the attention his son got in it and probably also the sic 20″ black rims.
Oh yeah?
There’s been a lot of talk about how CrossFit is an equal opportunity sport–for the participants and spectators. Fans like watching women compete just as much as–if not more than–men compete in CrossFit, and that’s rare for any professional sport. The prize purse for the 2010 Games was equal ($25K). In gyms around the world, men compete against women and women against men. Pretty cool if you ask me.
Then again, I have always blurred the lines between manly and girly.
