When Lucky Vitamin introduces new brands to the site, they offer them at a discount—which I think is smart, so you take less of a risk when trying something new, right? So their NEW section is one place I always look, so on my most recent online-shopping trip, I laughed aloud (alone) when I had shopped most of their new brands before: ClimbOn? My go-to for CrossFit hands. Seventh Generation? My go-to recycled TP. NooTrees? Bamboo TP, because it’s a renewable resource and I’m a dirty hippie faux celeb. I mean, I knew about jellies before they were cool (are they cool again?), so you’d believe it’d stay true … I also did try a new hydration/BCAA powder, and I’m stoked on it (click for the deets).
However, this post is to talk about essential oils (up to 35% off right now to boot), aromatherapy, and other scent-based dirty hippie things (which is hilarious, as I have a terrible sense of smell). Here are the three things I bought that are currently changing my life:
I thought essential oils might be a crock, and maybe they are, but even if they are, these babies are helping me sleep better. Placebo? Sure, who cares? They’re working even without me being able to smell them! But when people come over, they are loving how they smell.
The SpaRoom Pinnacle Diffuser is super easy to use, and I love the silly lights and the fact that it will turn off once it’s out of water—so I can drop in a few drops of the NOW “Peaceful Sleep” essential oil from the Starter Pack listed above and head to bed without a care in the world. I really do believe this is helping me sleep better.
The verdict is more out on the Sleep Oil Inhaler, which you sort of just snort up your nose. Not sure if it’s helping or not, but at less than $6, it’s not too much of a risk.
Long story short: if you’re not into essential oils yet, you should be, and Lucky Vitamin in a great place to start.
I’m continually impressed by Lucky Vitamin’s prices—fab on essential oils, product availability, and innovative new brands. I’m lucky to be a #LuckyAmbassador!
