[author’s note: I am posting this unedited; written 4/23/21 // and then I never finished it because I flew to Costa Rica and tried to go off the grid as much as possible. But it’s so … happy! So I’m publishing it before publishing this week’s FGF.]
I am starting this list on a feel good friday the week before, so everything COULD change. But I am just feeling SO loved and need to share my gratitude for that, as I may have glossed over it last week, and there’s even more to be grateful for in just the four hours since I published that list.
My aunts. My aunts are AMAZING. My aunts are like older sisters to me and I am so grateful they love and care about me the way they do.
A friend of mine biked over for an hour porch sit. I’m pretty sure he felt empowered because he’s witnessed other male friendships I have, and how authentic they are (read: not with the goal of dating). And I am so grateful for this 13(?)-year-long friendship.
My parents. I am SO spoiled. In the best way. They don’t want to take me to the airport at 5am tomorrow morning because who would but they are willing to go pick up my truck if I want to drive and leave it … WHAT?! They called me separately, both, to make sure I knew this was an option. Reasons I moved home for $100.
