So I’ve been talking about how awesome Lanai is and how you should go for awhile now … almost a month? But they’re finally hosting their Grand Opening party Thursday night! From 8-10pm, there will be free “tastings” of their signature cocktails and apps. At 10, the place morphs into “Shy Town Night” with DJ Blend-e.
They have a few stellar sangrias, and a fantastic mint margarita. Stay away from the frozen raspberry lemonade or whatever they’re calling it–it’s way too sweet. I’ve only tried one of their signature cocktails, the spicy Mexican martini one, and it was good. I prefer my bartender Jack’s regular Mexican martinis though. 🙂 If Jack is busy, another good bartender to see is Danny–he’s the cutie with the bald head.
