Get yourself to some water this weekend! Hike the Greenbelt, go to Barton Springs (try the other side of the dam if you don’t want to spend the $3), go to Deep Eddy, go to your neighboring apartment complex’s pool, rent a boat or jet ski and head out to the lake … just get thee to some water!
Austin Parks & Rec also operates 48 public pool facilities: 27 neighborhood pools, 12 wading pools, 2 water playscapes, 6 municipal pools, the Emma Long waterfront, and Barton Springs Pool.
I would be hitting up one of these spots, except I’m going to be sweating it out in a silk dress.
