I’d say learning to snowboard went much better …
In all seriousness, I liked snowboarding a lot and picked it up faster than skiing. I felt more confident … don’t know if it’s the strapped-in feet, that I already knew the mountain, or that I had a great teacher … or all three, plus my awesome balance … but it was a blast!
However, I could barely walk Monday. Talk about sore! So much fun.
So I went to the gym, rowed 1000M, rolled out for about ten minutes, then did this quick WOD … it worked all my soreness out without making me more sore! AWESOME!
AMRAP 12 min:
5 reps 135# back squat
10 reps (5 ea side) renegade row w/ pushup 12#
10 reps (5 ea) split squat on bench
10 walking lunge steps with 25# plate
Score: 5 rounds
Even better news? My ankle is hardly even tender after all that work! More therapy tomorrow …
