My support for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is all but absolute: I rarely ask questions if Sean or the CFF asks me to donate/participate/join in an event/fundraiser/hair-brained scheme. So I joined the Seananigans team a) because I love a pun, b) because I love Sean, and c) without any context as to what I was joining.
Turns out the Seananigans will be walking on May 14th at Q2 Stadium in Austin, and we need everyone’s support to meet our fundraising goal. For over 30 years, Great Strides – the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fundraising event – has supported the Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis.
No idea what activity I’m doing but supporting that mission is paramount so please donate here. Was I supposed to walk 65 miles? Idk but I had a torn surgically-repaired achilles. Am I walking 65 miles next Saturday? I doubt it but who knows, and would I? Absolutely*.
Your generous gift will help accelerate innovative research and drug development, as well as advance care and advocacy. Plus, your gift is 100 percent tax deductible.
Donating is easy and secure. Any amount that you can contribute is greatly appreciated. Your gift will help add tomorrows to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis by supporting groundbreaking research and medical progress towards a cure. Please help me reach my very modest, very last-minute fundraising goal of $300!
