Finally not ravenous!
Lunch was easy: salad bar and packet of tuna.
Dinner, I went to town at the grocery store and came home and prepped a ton of food. I made an HCG veggie soup (recipe to come soon), cauliflower frice, seasoned ground beef, and steamed broccolini.
Many of you former Zoners recognize the food scale, but I had never in my whole life weighed my food before. I don’t like it, it’s obsessive. But for this diet I will. (I also eyeballed 3.5 ounces and got damn near close but a little over—had to throw three tiny balls of ground beef back into the pan)
Last night’s dinner isn’t all that different than a dinner I’d eat any night, except I’d probably double the portion of meat, which totally isn’t necessary. SEE, THESE are the lessons to learn on HCG? Portion size!
Cabbage soup + Mix of raw cauliflower frice, steamed broccolini, and ground beef (96% lean cooked in a cast iron skillet without any oil but with LOTS of seasonings!)
I also finally weighed myself today! For the first time, so I know that’s not the HCG protocol but there’s not a lot I can do about it, I have to go to the gym and sneak into the men’s restroom to use the scale (why don’t they have a scale in the women’s room? It may have something to do with the fact that there are only about 5 of us who work out there). Anyway, while I’m focusing on reshaping and will go with looks and clothes fit, I will now also be able to report pounds-lost progress—yay!
