I love cheese. and milk. and lattes from Latte Link, what we call my mom’s house and gazillion dollar latte machine. I am so excited to be eating Primal!
Seriously. I feel great. Look great. And have NO desire for sugar or starch. how crazy is that?! I just want giant salads with dancing people dressing (also a mom’s house special, it’s a buttermilk ranch that’s totally primal) and local goat cheese and zucchini and lots of nuts.
That has been the weird thing: I’ve had CRAZY nut cravings. mostly almonds. WTF? I don’t really like nuts! But I cannot stop thinking about almonds.
I’ve been around lots of food and booze two days into SXSW and not really felt like I’m missing out on anything. (512) did release a new beer that I wanted to try, but I lived. Nothing else, not hot cookies or big cupcakes or fried buffalo pickles has even tempted me. a coworker commented on my self control, but it’s not even that: it’s not an option, and I don’t want it! Powerful.
Besides, I ate THIS last night …
… the BEST burger I’ve ever had in my whole life. Obviously sans buns and fries, this most amazing creation is from Second Bar & Kitchen in Austin and is made of ground brisket and chuck and topped with gruyere. omfg. Side of Brussels sprouts with bacon. local and grassfed. My diet is awesome.
