At first it was really fun keeping a daily diary of my HCG diet. Now it’s just kind of tedious. Except I was really excited about finding Miracle Noodles! But I think it’s important, and hopefully helping others!
Weight: down 3 pounds from yesterday and the lowest I’ve weighed since I started weighing, but not by much. I am afraid, however, that I am losing my butt!!! I looked in the mirror in the gym today and it looked WAY different. As I have mentioned before, I have always had a “high and tight” ghetto booty, and it does NOT look like that anymore. It’s not a bad butt, but it’s just not the same. Curious.
Breakfast: nothin’
Snack (1p): apple
Lunch: (3p): cauliflower frice + ground beef
Snack: failed zucchini hummus weirdo dip + 4 celery stalks
Gym workout: 3RM Bear Complex (Wkout #2 from Fittest Games): hit 95#, then at 105# completed but couldn’t lock out the last behind-the-head press. Was frustrated. That Ripped Guy of Mine(TM) reminded me that I wasn’t working at my normal energy levels, so I shouldn’t be frustrated. Truth.
Dinner (Paleo Scallop Scampi Recipe): Scallop scampi with MIRACLE NOODLES and roasted brussel sprouts. SO easy to make: saute garlic in chicken broth, add a splash of lemon juice and white wine (it’s in my HCG recipe book …) and the scallops. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side, sprinkle salt and pepper. Add broth as needed. Add miracle noodles at the last minute, stir to coat with broth garlic sauce. Roast brussels in 400-degree oven. Cut in half and toss into pan, stir to coat with sauce. Serve!
