I am still getting back into the swing of feel good Fridays, it would turn out.
Birthday weekends are so fun, and even more funny when your beloved says, “it’s birthday week! Birthday month! Birthday year!”
We celebrated with a byob comedy show, a big, meat-sweat dinner at Dai Due with one of our favorite couple friends, a food festival, a pineapple party, couch time, family spaghetti dinner … and that was just the first weekend.
This weekend, we were in Colorado again, celebrating my amazing, ridiculous, infuriating, loud, hilarious husband. Again.
But it was an epic weekend with friends, one for the books. A Denver day, a wander around town lazy day, Bromance time, and two late season spring ski days, one at A-Basin and the second at Loveland, a first for all of us. We got three seasons in both days. Loveland was a freakin’ blast, what a fun mountain!
I’m so grateful for a love like this. Friends and fam.
I’m so grateful for my camp twin in town a past weekend to take care of another friend, for a love like that and ours, for girlfriendships that transcend time and togetherness.
And! I’m grateful for the cabin. Healthy pasta. The Frothy Cup. Palal. Shelby yoga. Work friends. Ideas. Print magazines. Mom moving packages in. Kombucha. Nephew pickups. Tiaaaa voicemails.
Lastly, I’m grateful the Texans are starting to use Oiler blue again!! I just want a hat in the color; they don’t appear to making apparel in it, only using it as a secondary. They will soon.
Like, just imagine this in secondary blue!
