Feel Good Monday is Better than Noneday | Feel Good Friday 051622

Because I’m a little grumpy this morning, trying to figure out how NOT to live in a state of constant stress, fit in all the things I want to do, and nurture relationships that are all important to me. Easy like Monday morning, right? So that’s what gratitude lists are for, and it doesn’t matter that I almost never make feel good fridays on fridays anymore.

I can’t talk enough about how grateful I am for my job, for loving it, for the freedom and creativity and leadership it gives me, for the awesome people I get to work with and the super fun – if exhausting – things I get to do.

Like fly to another country for a happy hour 🙂

How much I love the people I work with was in particular focus this weekend, as I reconnected with some old coworkers—people I loved, a job I did not. Always a silver lining.

So happy to be part of Seananigans team for Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Then again, I am supposed to be trying to enjoy things that are pure gold rather than having to find the best in a situation, right? That’s my football team, and celebrating birthdays with them and sharing frose and just reveling in great people loving on great people.

Speaking of great people … here’s my hilarious dad talking shit about mowing my lawn (which we all know I LOVE to do) to my handsome humanitarian warrior, who then raced outside to have an edger-off with him. Hilarity.

Other things I’m grateful for include a wine-and-wander, a fancy dinner with this coq a vin recipe, scooting with partners around downtown, trying Dumont’s Down Low, alllll of the amazing seafood soup dumplings at Qi, celebrating a new homebuyer, my home gym for at-home PT, the great smokeout of the bees trying to nest IN the pool, brother and baby pop-bys, airport-arrival sushi quest, and the nicest construction workers of ever working on the wastewater pipes on our street—one carried my bag for me when I had to pick up Nali and carry her to my truck parked around the corner.
