Feel Good Friday is a roundup of the things that made me feel good or that I’m grateful for all week. Join me and leave your Feel Goods in the comments!
I have so much to be thankful for this week, and as I fly to Houston for my grandfather’s memorial service, I’m even more appreciative of not only what a wonderful family I was born into but what a wonderful family I’ve been lucky enough to gather in my friends in Aspen, Austin, and everywhere else.
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAMA!! Wishing a wonderful day to my best friend, business partner, confidant, and the best mom in the whole world!
- An absolutely amazing trip to Lake Powell with my bestie and a ton of new friends … I literally wore my bikini 12 hours a day for three days straight. Jet skis, wakeboarding (I got up!), canyons, sunbathing, lounging, NO sunburn, and …
- I jumped off a 40-foot cliff! FORTY. FEET. TALL. It was possibly the most terrifying thing I’ve ever asked myself to do, and the thrill was absolutely amazing. Worth it!
- Being the recipient of someone’s first-ever gchat (who hasn’t gchatted?!)
- Porch-sittin’ in my new adirondack chairs.
- Discovering that a lot of songs I love but didn’t know who sang them are by the band Love and Theft … and then listening to their entire World Wide Open album literally over and over again (at least five times in a row, per day, for the entire week).
