I don’t generally like to book up my evenings—one or two a week is plenty for me, thanks. I like to have time to work out, cook, relax (read: watch ALLLLL the Chicagos, all three of which just got renewed for THREE seasons). But this week my favorite cousin—I have a lot of favorite cousins, as it turns out, like best friends—was in town taking the Texas Bar, so I hung out with him (and my parents) every single night except for the CFF event. It was SO much fun.
I’ve also had a great time with my house/yard this week, cleaning out the gutters with my extreme voltage leaf blower, a task that took several days as I collected the right accoutrement and then had to wait for said extreme voltage battery to charge enough to blow out slightly-wet leaves—the battery is apparently not so extreme but we can take that up with Kobalt later.
I also had a fun-filled weekend with yoga and scooting around town, and then yoga every single day this week. Kinda proud of that, I don’t do that not-often, but I don’t really do it often either (the weekends get me). VinoVinyasa, however, solves that problem by offering me social weekend yoga. 🙂
Grateful for my bike and being able to bike to events, yoga, the gym, errands, and more. Grateful for my pup and her “help” with my two(!!) current digital strategy clients—and grateful for those clients. Grateful for my amazing family, the Bachelor even if it’s terrible this season, Chef Andrew meals, art, my neighbor attending events with me, Texas winters, and now really, really being legit!! <–my b-school was accredited, which we knew was happening but is offish official, yay Quantic School of Business & Technology, which I cannot recommend enough for people who want a #ModernMBA!!
