I’m not sure I’ve ever needed a Friday so much. Last weekend in Las Vegas feels like a lifetime ago and it’s been a mere four days since I left the state of Nevada.
The week has been super, super intense. There’s so much to do, so much still up in there. There’s so much just at the surface of happening, and I have to keep calm on the outside while my insides, brain, and heart are paddling frantically to keep me afloat. Duck feet.
That’s the name inspiration of my dad’s favorite piece of art of mine.
Speaking of art! I made it onto the Austin Studio Tour again this year! It was just announced yesterday, and while I’ll be out of town for the West-only weekend, I’m excited to open up my gallery again for the middle weekend of the Studio Tour November 12-13! More info coming soon.
I have so much to catch up on, to be grateful for, to share. I am so lucky to have such amazing friends and family. Getting to do couple-y things in Vegas was amazing. Making friends at Momofuku and eating noods every night, the incredible Cards game, win baby win, a perfect pool day … I’m so grateful for Megs & P. I love drinkin’ dinos and how much fun they make things, how they help make friends.
I’m in a car writing this and am too car-sensitive to continue… grateful, however, for your continued readership even when feel good friday is sporadic, disjointed, and slightly nuts 🙂
