Just letting y’all know that I’ve switched my face sunscreen to a tinted one because I literally cannot remember the last time I put makeup on my face but I do like a little smoothing of the skin tone. <<Supergoop! enters the chat>>
Supergoop! has long been my favorite spray body sunscreen, with its very natural approach and great staying power, as well as its sexy oil sunscreens for lounge-y beach days, but because I was super happy with Paula’s Choice primer serum with SPF (which I am still happy with), I never tried their face products.
But with bloggers all over the internet extolling the virtues of Supergoop’s Glowscreen ($36), I had to try. I will admit, I purchased the full size version after the sample, and I like it. But it’s not really enough coverage to count as tinted, it’s more just a regular daily sunscreen.
For the light coverage I want, you need Mattescreen ($38).
I also tried their new CC Screen … it is TOO MUCH. To be fair, I chose a color that was too light, but it’s also thick and not comfortable on my face. This was my first foray into CC creams so maybe that’s how they all feel, but I do not recommend.
Stick with Mattescreen, or Glowsceen if you’ve got really, really good skin—mine is getting back to that!
