Last week, my phone:
Texter (in Aspen): It’s snowing out!
Me: Awesome!
Texter: Hah! Response 3-4 years ago? Much different.
Fact: At no point in my life did I imagine I’d relish the snow or MISS skiing. Approaching my first winter without snow after the past three winters living in Aspen has me in a bit of a tizzy. Sure, it’s nice not to worry about your hair freezing with sweat on it, or where on earth you put last year’s mittens when snow comes before you’ve gotten out your winter gear, but snow is awesome. And so is skiing. And so is winter gear.
Do you know how much time I save by NOT shopping online for winter gear? Coats, scarves, hats, gloves—leather, touch tip, skiing, workout—not to mention skis, boots, backpacks … but I still want it all, and spend time surfing sites like GearTrade.com dreaming about my newest whatevers. They just are not necessary anymore.
Still necessary? My beloved ski boots, discussed here with much love for GearTrade.com, where you can list your skis & snowboards with NO fees. The site is super easy to both navigate and to use to buy and sell new and slightly-used gear. My boots were new and ridiculously cheap—like 70% off! The snow is falling in Colorado, Utah, and Northern Cal … if you’re like me, itching for new winter toys and clothes, LIST your Skis & Snowboards at GearTrade.com! No FEES Click Here for Details!
