I committed to run/walk/skip/GO down and up these steps at least once a day for as many days in a row as I live here.
That’s 64 steps.
Friday night at 11:14pm, I realized I hadn’t run the stairs yet. It was hailing lightly and pitch black, but Nali and I ventured out into the cold to keep our commitment. We grabbed the headlight Dad gave me (thanks, Dad!) and went on our merry way. Run down, run back up, done.
It’s a little thing, like two minutes, maybe. But it’s a big thing. The commitment part.
