Checklist 93: The Story of a Sandal

This question represents the absolute saddest state of our society: Choosing the Man or Bear?

On a lighter note, let’s:

Pack Our Bags

  • For a traveling-by-zipline experience in Laos: gibbonexperience.org
  • I 10000000% would have applied for this Tokyo Blind Date if I was single … I shared his story on ig too, I just love the hope of it all. I won’t spoil it, but at least skim to the end to read the last few sentences that brought real tears to my eyes.

Buy Alllll The Things

STORY TIME: I have a pair of Target sandals that I have worn TO DEATH. The (probably fake) leather is peeling, but I can’t stop wearing them because they still look great if you don’t get too close, and I’m tall so probably no one is close, right? Wait, that logic doesn’t work … nonetheless, I did what any sane person would do for an $18 pair of sandals, and that is search ‘Target sandals’ on poshmark and scroll through 43 pages of sandals that are cute enough but NOT MY SANDALS.

Then, this absolutely sane person, who writes this blog, realized that she … wrote about these sandals on this blog. And could go back to that post. Which contains not only the direct link to the EXACT SANDAL (which Target no longer sells), but the exact name to search on poshmark.

And ebay.

Where they are! For $26.99, which represents a significant markup for a three-year-old sandal (with tags on, though), and in cognac, which might even look better? Not yet a happy ending, I have not “bought it now”.

Just Lyssie over here questing after her Lissie sandals.

Of course.

LOL probably definitely obsessing over three years later…
