The weather here in Austin is sublime. Chilly mornings, perfect afternoons. It makes everything better.
Plant Update
- My string of pearls plant is blooming! Who knew that was a thing? I bought it at Austin Flower Company early in the pandemic and it is thriving. Time to learn how to propogate!
Entertainment
- Episode 12 of Sacks and the City Podcast is a doozy—we talk about crazies, a double bumble profile, and more.
- Check out all the artists in the Austin Studio Tour—including me!
- We all missed out on the Bon Appé-Cheetos cookbook that sold out in a day, but fear not: select recipes are still available here.
Daydream Wednesday
- Booked my first airplane trip since Feb… I’ll be over here using Duolingo to learn a whole bunch of random Portuguese words that aren’t going to help me at all in Rio 😉 Borboleta!
Time to Start Christmas Shop, Shoppin’ away…
- My friend’s salsa company released their gift set—and nabbed a mention in Food & Wine mag!—which includes enamel plates + salsa ramekins that I’m kind of obsessed with. $100
- Kosas released their gift sets, which include lots of minis—I usually prefer minis, because never have I ever made it all the way through a lipstick or lipgloss. Check them out here and get $10 off $35+ with this link. They also currently have gifts-with-purchase over $25, so you can really get a lot for your buck!
- Rowing Blazers collaborated with the original designer of a sweater Princess Diana made famous—and for $295, you can have one too (it’s really cute.)
