This 100 Day Challenge sometimes annoys the crap out of me. Like, I’ve already gone to yoga, played 2 hours of sand volleyball, and I have to do 37 burpees?
Some days, it’s my saving grace. Like, it’s 10pm, I’ve been working since 9am with no break, and it’s the only thing I could possibly even think of doing for fitness, even though I don’t want to, but I have to, because I just have to. Because I committed.
Some days, the burpees just work. Like in my first Nature’s Garage Gym Workout in quite some time, since StressFestoh10.
The (beautiful, amazing, gorgeous) setting:
The workout: 1 hour walk. 20 minutes climbing on rocks by the water. WOD. Walk home. Stairs.
WOD:
10 burpee snatches w/ stick (this was a fun variation, but I would never do it with weight)
4 Rds: 5 burpees, 5 rock presses, 5 rock throws across the river

You will note that is 40 burpees! Only 60 more days to go …
