Right before she absolutely took over every magazine and blog ever (this month’s Vanity Fair, anyone?) with her phenomenal, luxurious, plant-based skincare line, I got wind of what the fabulous Tata Harper was up to on her farm in Vermont. In southern Vermont on 1200 acres sits a farm, not unlike many of farms in the area. But what is produced there is entirely unique: on the Julius Kingdom Farm, Tata Harper creates, packages, sells, and ships her eponymous line of 100% natural, botanical skincare.
Just the Harper family farm … where the magic happens.
On a recent trip to the green mountain state, I had the chance to stop in to the farm, albeit during a Vermont snow storm. Despite the bone-chilling temps, the mostly-female staff gave me a warm welcome as they showed me the ins and outs of life on the farm. Tata herself was away.

And here’s the farm in the summer! The staff harvests flowers in the summer and uses them all year round in the products. Tata Harper products contain at least 6 and up to 29 active ingredients, all natural, eco-friendly, and vegan.

Tata Harper Lab
In a barn that used to be the milk production room and still houses hay for the cows sits the brightly-lit, colorful lab for Tata Harper Skincare. Shoes off, Crocs on, when you enter the clean environment.
One of the things I most enjoyed while touring the farm and visiting with the Tata Harper staff were the parallels I saw with my own team at EndlessBeauty.com. We too are founded, majority-owned, and led by women. We too operate in a small environment where we work closely together on all aspects of running a business.
When they aren’t playing with formulas or packaging the end results in glass jars and hand-labeling them out in the barn, the staff does office work in a cozy basement office in the farmhouse.
The staff sent me out the door with a green velour bag of products, their sample set designed to last about a week and to help rejuvenate, hydrate, and firm the skin so that it appears brighter and revitalized. They gave my skin a once-over and immediately told me the best routine for me—now that’s familiarity with your product!
Directions: Morning & Night layer the products…
Step 1: Regenerating Cleanser (cleanse)
Step 2: Hydrating Floral Essence (Hydrate)
Step 3: Rejuvenating Serum (Repair/Rejuvenate)
Step 4: Rebuilding Moisturizer (Moisturize)
Step 5: Restorative Eye Crème (Restore/Depuff)
After a week, my skin does indeed feel rejuvenated and hydrated! The products were luxurious to put on without being too thick, and the routine was quick enough to make it easy to do morning and night.
I can see why Tata Harper is en vogue (literally, in Vogue) right now. The products are the real deal and the gracious staff is clearly passionate about educating women about skincare.
