I’ve told everyone else over every medium I have about it, I can’t believe I haven’t told you guys about my new boot camp! I’m coaching a BlissFits Aspen boot camp in Nature’s Garage Gym at Rio Grande Park in Aspen. I started Monday with 5 people in the rain, had 3 yesterday in the snow, and am hoping for a bunch today with great, sunshiney weather!
It’s been super fun programming workouts for my new group, a wide range of athletes with lots of experience levels. Plus the rain and snow, there have already been programming challenges, but despite their sore legs (lots of squat variations), the boot campers are all super stoked about BlissFits!
I’m having a great time too, pushing myself to do their workouts before I make them do them, so I can have benchmark times and adjust the workout accordingly, so I’ve been doing more CrossFit-cardio than usual lately. It’s great!
Every day we cool down with a few moves cribbed from yoga, so I’m also thinking about getting yoga-instructor certified. I think it’d add another element to the class. But I have no idea where to begin! Any suggestions?
