Roll On Sushi Diner celebrates its one year anniversary next week, complete with three days of merry-making AND donation-making!

Roll On Sushi Diner celebrates counter culture with casual sushi priced from $4.50 to $7.50. Recently named one of Travel + Leisure’s Coolest New Diners—kind of a big deal—the anniversary will also launch 15 new items including The Leslie, with spicy tuna, soft shell crab, and cucumber and The Machete with spicy salmon krab cake, jalapeno, avocado, and chili confit garlic, tempura fried.

Co-owned by brothers Chad and Chip Reed, Roll On Sushi has had a year full of success. “Over the past year we have loved building relationships with our great customer base,” Chad Reed said.

Roll On Sushi Diner’s one-year anniversary events include:

  • August 16: Ribbon cutting with the Chamber from 11:30a-12:30p, happy hour drink specials all day and every table will receive a complimentary Chef Special roll. For each item sold containing produce from the Grow Together Community Gardens, Roll On will donate $1 to the Gardens.
  • August 17: Roll On Sushi drink specials including $1 Bud Light and $1 carafe of house Sake all day and night with a reverse happy hour from 9p-12a and a guest DJ. Beneficiary is Flatwater Foundation: 10 percent sales donated day and night.
  • August 18: Roll On Sushi Diner will showcase their talented employees as entertainment for the reverse happy hour from 9p-12a, with drink specials including $1 Bud Light and $1 carafe of house Sake. The “HAAM Roll” special for the day celebrates the nonprofit with 10 percent of sales of day and night benefitting Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM).
