I don’t think I ever blogged about the time I tried out for a reality TV show. It was that not-very-interesting show where participants vied for a job at Elle. In the casting, they basically told me that I would be really boring to watch because I was too nice and too talented for the actual job I was competing for. Um, thanks?
However, if you are less boring than me, you should hit up the open casting call for Food Network Star, Food Network’s hugely successful culinary reality series. Aspen just had one of its own barely lose last season of Food Network Star (Susie Jiminez), coming in second place. But Austin could be the home of the next winner … they are currently casting for season 8 and holding an open casting call on Saturday, September 10th. Sharpen your knives, budding culinary superstars!
