At it again … searching for an apartment. This will be my 10th place in 8 years. Blame that wanderlusting, adventurous soul who says, “pick up and move to a new place? OK!” This time, though, I thought we might have some tenure in my fab apartment with a stellar roomie—who is now moving out of state.
The search is stressful, anxiety-inducing, and sort of fun. I may end up slightly homeless before I find the right spot, but I’m trying to keep a good attitude about the search. I am grateful I have options, I am grateful I am currently near the beach, I am grateful I have friends who can keep my dog, my person, and my stuff, should I become homeless.
I am my (Texas real estate king) grandfather’s granddaughter, after all.
